The Genetic Cabaret by Anti-Delusion Mechanism

The Genetic Cabaret is a performance-event-project realised by the non-categorizeable and expansive underground culture. The Cabaret includes dancers, an interactive CD-ROM, electronic and acoustic sound and songs; and costumes and objects envisioning the degenerate genetically engineered reality. The Cabaret projects the genetic tale as physical philosophy in language, sound and movement; proving the end of a deterministic aesthetics. It contains real stories from the genetic realm as well as form-transformations of human behaviour and religious and scientific attitudes. It draws the human flesh through the screen of virtual existence and folds the digital resonance of the word into the irrational logic of musical time. The Genetic Cabaret by Anti-Delusion Mechanism has been under preparation since 1998 and is being performed from autumn 2001 in various variations.
