Dear Heinz-Norbert Pauls, your site is really a great dedication to Mark Knopfler and the music in the face of so many other musician. Would you let me to correct some info on your site? Being a die-hard Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler and BIG fan of Chris White ( Dire Straits' sax player) and MODERATOR of his website I saw incorrect info on the page about him. It should be:
CHRIS WHITE
Birth Name: Chris White
Born: July 13, 1955
Genres: Rock, Celtic, Jazz, Blues
Member of: Dire Straits, Robbie Williams' Band
Chris White of The Zombies is a bass player and he is other person without clue to Dire Straits.
Also the album 'Control' by Chris White is ILLEGAL in fact, so please remove it from the page. The info come from Mr. White himself, who I've got the honour to know personally.
