Die fünfköpfige Formation um Tim Strohmeier, Lennard Fiehn, Stefanie Lukassek, Theo Altmann und Lucie Graehl verbindet akustische Instrumente mit elektronischen Klangwelten – mal fließend und fragil, mal roh, dicht und kraftvoll. In diesem Setting entstehen Klangräume zwischen Ambient und Noise, zwischen struktureller Klarheit und offener Improvisation. Jazz sowie Neue und elektronische Musik bilden dabei keine stilistischen Grenzen, sondern Bezugspunkte, die die Gruppe bewusst überschreitet.

TÆ denkt Musik als Prozess: Kollektiv, neugierig, grenzüberschreitend. Ihre neuen, gemeinsam erarbeiteten Kompositionen erkunden Zeitlichkeit, Strukturbrüche und die Verwandlung akustischer Klänge durch elektronische Mittel.
Sie beschäftigen sich mit Dichte und Reduktion sowie mit der Transformation akustischer Klänge durch elektronische Mittel. Dadurch entstehen vielschichtige Stücke, die Fragilität und Ruhe ebenso zulassen wie intensivere, komplexere Passagen. Die Musik lebt von der Interaktion mit den jeweiligen Räumen und eröffnet Zuhörer*innen einen Einblick in den kollektiven Forschungsprozess der Gruppe.

Nach früheren Projekten wie dem zweitägigen Debüt in der Stuttgarter Kirche St. Maria und Auftritten u. a. beim Detect Classic Festival stellen TÆ nun ihr neues Album im Rahmen einer Konzerttour vor.

Die Konzerte im LOFT beginnen in der Regel gegen 20 Uhr - das LOFT öffnet jeweils um 19.30 Uhr.

The five-piece band led by Tim Strohmeier, Lennard Fiehn, Stefanie Lukassek, Theo Altmann, and Lucie Graehl combines acoustic instruments with electronic soundscapes—sometimes fluid and fragile, sometimes raw, dense, and powerful. This setting creates soundscapes that range from ambient to noise, from structural clarity to open improvisation. Jazz, new music, and electronic music do not form stylistic boundaries, but rather points of reference that the group deliberately transcends.

TÆ conceives of music as a process: collective, curious, boundary-crossing. Their new, collaboratively developed compositions explore temporality, structural breaks, and the transformation of acoustic sounds through electronic means.

They deal with density and reduction as well as the transformation of acoustic sounds through electronic means. This results in multi-layered pieces that allow for fragility and calm as well as more intense, complex passages. The music thrives on interaction with the respective spaces and gives listeners an insight into the group’s collective research process.

Following earlier projects such as their two-day debut at St. Maria Church in Stuttgart and performances at the Detect Classic Festival, among others, TÆ are now presenting their new album as part of a concert tour.


The concerts at the LOFT will generally start at around 8.00 pm CEST - the LOFT will open at 7.30 pm CEST.
Exceptions during wintertime - eg on Sundays - are possible.
