“Tell me who you are, what you've experienced, tell me your story!” But Bo is new to the city and doesn't know the stories that are told here. He doesn't know who landed the last Genie and freed him from the bottle. He has also never heard the incredible story about the hunchbacked singer or the story of his neighbor, the cook, who survived a shipwreck and almost became the richest prince of all time. Mira, the tailor and tailor's daughter, knows all these stories. The two meet one night on the roof and experience an unforgettable adventure together, because as long as the stories are told, time stands still and evil is kept at bay...

We are delighted to announce that 1001 Nacht oder die Macht des Erzählens has been invited to the 42nd Westwind Festival, the theater festival for young audiences in North Rhine-Westphalia!

The festival will be organized by echtzeit-theater and THEATER MÜNSTER from May 30 to June 5, 2026.
